Looking at the theme's point of “pointing towards the life we will have in eternity through reflection... It is a perspective that changes the way we view things etc...”—the rationale is that the experience of investigating the logotype to make sense of the word “Eternity” is very much akin to the act of gaining a new perspective in the way we view life. Once a viewer gains the perception of the word “Eternity”, they would be aware of it and wouldn't have to think twice when viewing it the second time. Similarly when the Christian gains an eternal perspective, the way they view life would be very different from then onwards, and the focus isn’t just on the present “life” itself anymore.
The lettering is also a fitting nod to Arthur Stace’s ‘Eternity’ graffito tag, written numerous times in chalk on the streets of Sydney, Australia throughout a 35-year period from 1932 to 1967.
